Keep Up With First NEA Updates

We know you are practicing social distancing and spending a lot of time at home, but that doesn't mean you have to go it alone!  We have plenty of opportunities for you to stay connected with your First NEA family online!

In-Person Services

First NEA Phase 2 Re-Opening

While we cannot guarantee a germ-free environment, we are taking steps to help prevent transmission of Covid-19. You can read more about those steps below. If you are sick, have a fever, present any signs of cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please stay home.

Service Schedule

  • Sunday | 10:00am

We care about your health and safety. If you are in a high-risk group, we encourage you to continue attending online at this time.

Our Guidelines for Your Safety

Our sanctuary has been reconfigured to allow for social distancing.  We will honor the federal standards and maintain six feet between family units.

At this time, we will have Sunday morning services only.  There will be no kids ministry, nursery, or childcare.  Small groups and Wednesday night activities will continue to meet online.

To help prevent the spread of infection, we ask everyone to wear a face mask any time you’re not at your seat in the Sanctuary.  If you forget, one will be provided for you.  Infants and toddlers will not be required to wear a mask.  If you have a health condition that makes it impossible for you to wear a mask, we understand.  When you are at your seat in the Sanctuary, you may take off your mask until it is time to leave.

Our lobby and classrooms will be closed to gathering and social mingling.

Before every service, the sanctuary, seating, and all high-touch services will be disinfected. We will only allow people in the room after that procedure is complete.

Hand sanitizer will be located in the lobby and in the back of the Sanctuary.  We encourage their frequent use.

If you need to sneeze or cough, please do so into your elbow.

Drinking fountains will not be available for use.

We will not distribute any bulletins.  Offering envelopes will be placed on the chairs before each service.

Greeters will be wearing masks and gloves.  We will not share hands, hugs, or high fives.  Instead, we will air hug, wave, and smile.

We encourage you to continue giving online.  During services, we will take an offering.  Ushers will wear masks and gloves.  They will walk to your family and allow you to drop your offering into a bucket, touch-free.

Entering/Exiting the Building

When you arrive and enter the building, we ask that you and your family find a place to sit in the Sanctuary – as the lobby and all gathering areas will be closed.
